There's no doubt AI is changing the way we create. Instead of having to build everything ourselves or explain exactly what we want, we’ll be able to explore different solutions generated by the machine and choose the one that makes the most sense to us. The role of designers becomes creating spaces where discovery and creativity happen together with AI—not just making things easy or pretty, but building experiences where we can be surprised and inspired.

Hi Jakob, this definitely resonates. I’ve been exploring a similar progression, what I’ve been referring to as “scenic to semantic.” What strikes me is the “shift from removing friction in predetermined paths to opening up possibilities we haven’t yet imagined.” That’s the core of it. We’re no longer designing detailed journeys or even maps. Instead, we’re building intelligent compasses, systems that adapt to intent and generate personalized paths.
