I think perhaps Google’s video move is more important than it first appears. The model may not outshine Seedance in pure generation but its ability to precisely edit something in an existing sequence is very valuable given the costs of getting to the final take by repetition alone. It would be interesting to see if it could clean up any of the bits you were prepared to let slide for the sake of costs for example :)
